Things are looking more and more gloomy every day.
Dark times ahead of us, friends.
Let us all stay strong and healthy.

The way things are going in the UK and our lack of urgence from our shambolic government means Wimbledon this year is a complete write off in 2020. Who knows when the next time we'll see some tennis.

On the plus side i got an extra 2 free months of tennis tv, every cloud and all that. I have a feeling I'll be watching some old matches on TennisTV from the last decade to fill my spare time.

A state of emergency has been declared in at least 4 states in Australia. New South Wales is not at that stage yet but they've banned public gatherings > 500 people and it could be I will be working from home so soon after starting my new employment.

Spain are now at that stage as well. Meanwhile over here there's still half marathons going ahead with thousands of people. Crazy.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-51893095

Yeah please stay all safe at home if possible and avoid any social gathering

It's really getting bad here as well. I run hotels and a few of the staff have went into self isolation because of feeling ill. They really need to start closing everything down now except for hospitals and grocery stores but the government are doing nothing and are trying out this "herd immunity" bullshit strategy which could kill millions of people. For me I'll still work unless i get ill, that's all I've been doing the last few days.

Not looking good here. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/15/uk-coronavirus-crisis-to-last-until-spring-2021-and-could-see-79m-hospitalised

This "herd immunity"strategy is madness and could potentially kill millions of people.

We're living in bad times with this virus with all sporting events cancelled in most countries and some countries on lockdown with others to follow. This will no doubt get worse before it gets better. I'll try and post updates in this thread. How's your country coping with this health crisis??

Here's a link for finding out how your country is doing.

To talk tennis after MTF's imminent demise?

Yep, this is where the revolution started. Hopefully soon there's more tennis to discuss and it's not several months until its back on again.
