Not Ferrer's fan but I felt sorry for him that day. Gave it all and came just short. And that MP will probably haunt him forever.

I absolutely love U2 but only their ancient stuff: War, Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, Rattle and Hum (very underrated album).

I've just read the news. Trump next?

Anyway that's me off work now for at least 3 weeks, it'll probably be longer this is a best case scenario.

It's been a mental 10 days for me, I've barely had time to look on any forum. I had to close down my hotel yesterday morning. It sucks but at least I get full pay, 80% from the government.

I'll stay in the house the rest of this week, but after that I'm going to put my name forward as an NHS volunteer. On tue the NHS asked for 250k volunteers, which has more than doubled already. It's like we're building an army for a war, it feels pretty surreal. Like I say, I'm putting my name forward next week as long as I'm feeling well and able.
Kudos to you, cm, you are a great guy. Yeah, it's like during a war. Some people are helping their neighbours and those in need, others will loot. That's not exactly the best time to be alive but we'll get through it.

Right...

There's a few things I need to get off my chest.

Nekro on TD decides to completely **** on me and this forum for completely no reason at all. He gets butthurt that I didn't make him mod on here. The reason I didn't make him mod is simply because I don't like or trust him at all. IBM, Cloren, Guitarra and MWW are all on here and I have far more respect for them that I do for Nekro. They're all mates and more trustworthy and wouldn't stab me in the back like Nekro has now done twice.

He then announces he's De-modded me from TD because I created this forum and invited a few MTFers on here instead of TD. The guy seriously needs to **** get over himself. What a petty bastard. That's twice he's pulled this Stunt, the first time was 2018 when we had a tennis disagreement. He De-modded me over a tennis disagreement, can you believe that. Then a year later he PMs Cloren on FB and begs him to ask me to come back, which I did. The funny thing is both times I never asked nor even wanted to be an admin or mod, he was just giving them away like blowjobs.

Of course Betty and Diana liked his post and defended him, om surprised they've even got time to breath they have they're head up Nekros ass that much. I'm a bit disappointed with Mimi though, she could've easily stayed out if it, but decided once again to defend that Nutjobs brainless decision making.

Of course when I replied on there he delets my posts and bans me like a **** coward, can dish it out but can't take it. He can't shut me up or delete my posts on here though.

Either one has an internet forum open for discussion or a self-cult tyrany centre.
Apparently he can't see the difference.
Anyway, don't worry, mate. Not worth a second of your life.

Hi cm  :D

Thanks for your understanding.  I understand the grievances of Trump towards China but he himself is also to blame.  Why he reacted so slow towards the virus?  Look how strong the French president reacted on the virus?

You take good care of your body.  I wish the  virus will go in about May so that Wimbledon can still be playing and that your Murray will be ready by then.  Good luck  :)

Yeah, I agree. Trump treated this Virus like a joke at first. Well the joke is now on him. This couldn't have happened at a worst time for him with an upcoming election campaign against Biden on the horizon.

You take care too, I'm not worried about getting this virus, I'm young and healthy. What I'm more worried about is my older members of my family getting it. Yeah, would be a shame if Wimbledon is cancelled, but i really can't see it going ahead this year, at least not in July anyway.
Donald and Barry would make a good couple I guess.

They said it's suspended till June 8th but I really doubt it'll be back that early.

This is already getting really challenging for me personally. I've had to work 10 out of the last 11 days because many of my staff have went into self-isolation because either they or someone in their household is unwell. Even if all the hotels shut I'm still going to have to look after the place because of the amount of equipment (computers, hoovers, TV's, Linen etc) We've got to watch after in case someone tries to break in ans steal anything, someone has to be on property.

Anyway it could be worse i guess. I'm not worried about getting it, I'm pretty healthy and in my early 30s so i should be fine. Although my Mum is a nurse for the NHS and is also working every day and in a more high risk job. My gf and my dad are taking time off work until this blows over. My Gran's in her 80s but fortunately doesn't have any underlining health conditions so should be OK.

Still people in my city are going out in pubs and public areas. Lewis Capaldi did a gig just 2 days ago just 40 miles from me in front of 15k people. **** mental.
What's your occupation? I assume it has something to do with hotel management, right?
I'm a marketing consultant and run my own company with a crew of over 10 people on board. They've been all working at home since last week already but it our business it's not really that big of a challenge to organise everyone working remotely.
The problem is many of our clients are cutting the marketing expenditures due to complete lack of demand, so our revenue is going to go down in April and next months considerably. Only medical companies and FMCG selling first need goods are doing fine.
The spring is coming, the weather is better and better every day and they force us to stay at home. Living in the time of plague is **** depressing.

General Tennis Discussion / When will tennis resume?

A sad question really. But I'd like to know when do you think professional male tennis will resume to be played?
My guess would be: before USO but I'm hoping for it to resume as soon as possible.

General Tennis Discussion / Re: Big 3 final slam count predictions?
« on: March 17, 2020, 07:50:44 am »
Really depends now on how long the coronavirus pandemic continues.

If it sweeps the entire season then we may very likely be witnessing a changing of the guard taking place right after it.
But if the strangle it quickly then I believe the BIG3 might have a few more slams in them. Certainly Djokovic is in the best position because he's the youngest and is doing really well on hard and grass.

If I were to take a wild guess right now I would say:

Federer - 20
Nadal - 20
Djokovic - 20

Things are looking more and more gloomy every day.
Dark times ahead of us, friends.
Let us all stay strong and healthy.

Actually when i was there i wanted to win the assclown contest, it was more fun, too bad i wasn't subtle about it, people saw through me and stopped voting for me lol

LOL yeah it's a fun contest. I just want to win a match, I think I'm like 0-5 or something. Pretty WOAT record.
I had a SF run in 2018 but that was the peak of my ability: too much effort invested into too blatant trolling. :D
I mean sane people like you and me should never have a chance to go deep there, the genuine lunatics like Chico or Tribal are much more worthy winners.

BTW @Nekro - what was your nick on MTF?

Do people panic a lot in Britain?
It's been pretty calm here so far but we are like 2 weeks behind you and 3 weeks behind Italy...

It's constantly on the news. The city i live in it's not too bad, there's only been 1 case within 60 miles, but i expect that to change sadly, the country as a whole is starting to get a bit worried because the NHS is stretched as it is, nurses and doctors are the lowest it's been in years, and same goes for beds as well. They were saying on the news that Germany and France have 8 beds per 1000 people, UK in comparison has 2, the NHS is at breaking point, were threatening strike at one point if our clown PM sold the NHS to Trump, so even before this caronavirus happened the NHS was in crisis, it's simply not going to cope with what's about to come in the next month.

You guys seem to be handling it pretty well for a big country in mainland Europe, compared to Germany, Italy France and Spain. The ironic thing is that the country that started this whole thing seems to have this caronavisus under control now while it's only getting worse in Europe. I expect it to keep getting worse sadly. I think it wont be until at least June or Jult until most European countries have control of this Virus,
Well it isn’t as good as it seems by the figures here. We just lag 2-3 weeks behind Italy and that’s the reason the numbers are low atm. Our national health system is a big mess. There are too few hospitals, they are heavily underinvested, lack proper equipment and stuff especially nurses are not salaried enough for their hard work. Also, many nurses and doctors emigrated to the Western countries some time ago (now after Brexit some of them came back). So I fully expect the things to get much worse here in a few weeks like in Italy, hopefully I’m wrong.

Yeah, the Chinese have coped well with the virus and I think the main reason for this is they are a communist country where people are very disciplined and the party can force the citizens to implement a full lockdown of the most infected areas. Have you seen a movie from Wuhan on YT - it looks like a complete ghost town for over a month now.

Yes, I’m not really into conspiracy theories, but one might think coronavorus is a Chinese trojan horse. But the economic consequences will be huge for the entire globalized world. Much worse than the financial crisis from 2008. Oil prices are down by 30%, the lowest level since 1991, stock markets are collapsing, travel companies, airlines, events, both demand and supply chains will be hit, only TV ratings will sky rocket cause people will sit at homes. It’s pretty scary, the only hope is they will work out a vaccine soon but I’ve been hearing it’s at least 9 months to a year before it could be used on a massive scale.

I do agree that we should treat thus virus with the respect it deserves but for me I go into shops and they're all out of hand wash and toilet rolls, people panic buying like you wouldn't believe.
